Join Sonora Quest Laboratories, a collaborative endeavor of Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant where you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing superior diagnostic testing services across Arizona. This role is pivotal in facilitating the workflow of our labs through specimen processing, lab equipment maintenance, and data entry to ensure accuracy and efficiency in test results that support patient care and medical diagnostics. Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper specimen storage. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment. Conduct routine tests and lab procedures. Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols within the laboratory environment. Record and input laboratory data into databases with high accuracy. Collaborate with other lab team members to manage workload and meet laboratory turnaround times. Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) Strong attention to detail Ability to follow complex instructions Good manual dexterity for handling small and delicate lab equipment Effective communication skills Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification preferred but not essential
