The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.Conduct Management is the company's front line ethics and allegation management function, responsible for team member experience, end-to-end investigations, and enterprise platform management and reporting. - We focus on team member feedback to drive operational excellence in our company's ethics program to ensure that team members are protected and feel comfortable raising concerns.The Business Excellence Team is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Operations Support and operational infrastructure for Conduct Management and providing centralized support and services across the Conduct Management organization to meet our strategic priorities. -This role will report to the Conduct Management Operations Support Leader and will be responsible for the management of primarily high risk/strategic projects (occasionally moderate risk) and/or participates as a member of larger effort(s) to manage sub-program component(s) of high complexity under the purview of a program/project leader. - Further details include:

  • Incorporate multi-business, Conduct Management knowledge, experience and navigation to anticipate change impacts.
  • Ensure full understanding of project impacts then translates that into comprehensive engagement strategies for Operations Support Teams: Procedures; Learning; and Communications & Engagement.
  • Successfully inform and influence sponsors and key stakeholders to promote success of project prioritization, senior and executive leadership through times of ambiguity, and obstacle management.
  • Seek counsel of peers, stakeholders, and/or program/project leads in times of strategically complex or critical ambiguity and adapts planning, communications, and engagements accordingly.
  • Incorporate regular and appropriate consultation with senior leadership, sponsors, business and other stakeholders to validate project trajectory and project performance feedback. Ensures that Risk Controls are met.
  • Partner with Operations Support team leadership to provide support to ensure all team initiatives are met and as appropriate, lead critical team initiatives.Key responsibilities include ensuring effective execution and operational efficiency for various initiatives for the following functional areas:Process, Procedures, and Controls:
    • Lead integrated process analyses, identifying procedural and control deficiencies, opportunities, and recommending solutions.
    • Drive controls, consistency and operational excellence throughout the Conduct Management organization
    • Proactively engage with leadership on "future state" to define and design consistent processes and procedures for the Allegation Management Lifecycle
    • Promote a strong risk culture of early identification of risk, credible challenge, integrity, transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide exceptional change management experience and subject matter expertise
    • Partner with Corporate Policies to understand recommended changes and coordinate impact assessment to Conduct Management processes and procedures
    • Work across LOB teams to rationalize parent child processes/procedures and reduce complexity
    • Develop front line execution implementation standards including definition of roles/responsibilities, information flow, control design effectiveness and documentation of key controls, performance indicators and governance structures.
    • Experience with process management and developing execution framework standardsLearning:
      • Lead activities related to Conduct Management learning and performance support
      • Ensure Conduct Management team members have the tools, resources, and training necessary to perform their roles effectively
      • Assess current state needs of allegation management team members and identify performance enablers and obstacles
      • Influence the effective management of non-learning performance enablers with broader Conduct Management partners
      • Develop learning strategies to build and enhance desired future state knowledge, skills, and abilities throughout the allegation management lifecycle
      • Design informal learning and performance support tools to address identified gaps
      • Evaluate learning solution effectiveness
      • Consult with learning and development partners to create formal training, as neededPreferred locations are Tempe/Phoenix ,AZ; Denver, CO and San Antonio, TX - may consider high qualified applicants outside of these locations.**Please note that posting duration may be shortened based on job seeker volume.**

        Required Qualifications
        • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning



          Other Desired Qualifications
          • 4+ years' Conduct Management experience with deep knowledge of Conduct Operations and Enterprise Investigations functions, processes, procedures, resources/tools and systems, including advanced EAP skills
          • Experience leading transformational and organizational change regarding behaviors, process and procedures
          • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
          • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
          • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
          • Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders
          • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
          • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
          • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
          • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
          • Strong project execution skills
