Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is looking for a highly motivated Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to be a technical leader and support Enterprise activities and L3Harris customers. Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of platform engineering solutions. Support cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. Employs cybersecurity processes, methods, techniques, and tools and assure their consistent application.

Essential Functions:

• Accountable to L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions (CAS) Sector Program Leaders in the domain of Cybersecurity military and commercial products.
• Responsible for integration of Cybersecurity solutions in support of CAS Business and Technical Roadmap strategies.
• Support Systems & Core Program Teams for developing Cybersecurity solutions to meet IRAD/CRAD requirements.
• Develop standardized Cybersecurity engineering Work Product Templates to drive Engineering Standardization.
• Developing new systems designs for avionics products, writing systems specifications (including Cybersecurity requirements) and performing systems level tests.
• Developing new systems designs for avionics products, writing systems specifications (including Cybersecurity requirements) and performing systems level tests.
• Design Cybersecurity/System Security Engineering Approaches and Processes across-functional engineering areas, along with design assurance review (DAR) checklists that integrates Cybersecurity into Engineering Practices Manuals (EPMs).
• Identify tasks and descriptions for Cybersecurity that is integrated into DAR checklists.
• Establish/Champion Cybersecurity Best Practices.
• Recognized leader for willingness to champion change in a rapidly dynamic, evolving, and ambiguous environment; high bias for action, results, and integrative thinking skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills across teams, functions, and various management levels; able to synthesize and articulate complex Cybersecurity problems. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (minimum); preference for Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Nine (9) years' experience and expertise within technical/engineering field with a focus in applying Cybersecurity into military and commercial Avionics Product Development.
  • Experience writing product systems requirements and systems validation procedures (including Cybersecurity aspects).
  • Experience writing product systems requirements and systems validation procedure (including Cybersecurity aspects.)
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification (minimum) to support Military DFARS Cybersecurity mandates.
  • U.S. citizenship. Preferred Additional Skills:
