Basic QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from the date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities for this PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As a Space Force MUOS Software Architect and Engineer in the Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems business area, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for development and testing of specialized solutions used by our warfighters worldwide in various environments. The system provides cellular phone-like service, enabling ground forces to communicate directly with higher levels with greater capacity and quality than the current system. You will maintain the current system, develop new capabilities, enhancements, and replace end-of-life components.Preferred skills and experiences include:

• Developing and documenting software architectures, behavioral descriptions, and interfaces
• Defining and reviewing software requirements and verification test plans
• Designing user interfaces for monitoring and controlling specialized test equipment (STE)
• Establishing manual and automated configuration methods for STE in various test scenarios
• Experience with Primefaces Framework, GoJS Library, Cassandra Distributed Database, Open Liberty application server, GitLab
• Developing for RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), virtual machines, and containers
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python, or PerlWhat sets you apart:
