DESCRIPTION:PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for
employee relations counseling and investigations as needed.Assist
with benefits administration to include benefit orientation for new
hires, enrollment guidance, issue resolution, benefit payment
notifications and annual open enrollment coordination including:
claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit
information to employees.Assist with company-wide committee
facilitation and employee communication.Assist with recruiting and
staffing logistics; conducts recruitment effort for nonexempt
personnel and temporary employees as needed.Assist in the
administration of performance management.Assist in implementation
of human resource policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with
Federal and State regulatory requirements and reporting.May conduct
employee orientation, development and training.May support employee
safety, wellness and health programs.Participate in developing HR
goals, objectives and processes.Assist with performance evaluation
program.Record, report and maintain logs to conform to Equal
Employment, Affirmative Action Plan, Department of Labor and OSHA
compliance for local, state and federal agencies and regulatory
bodies.Participate in various HR and Distribution leadership
meetings and attend workshops and seminars.Assist in evaluation of
reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to
established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and
procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of
department and services performed.Maintain HCM records and
generates reports.Perform other related duties as required and
assigned.Act as a back up to the Human Resources Leader as
needed.REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or
equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization
Development or equivalent.3-5 plus years of progressive leadership
experience in Human Resources.Specialized training in employment
law, benefits, leaves administration, compensation, employee
relations, training required.Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
certification preferred.General knowledge of employment laws and
practices.Experience in the administration of benefits, leave of
absences, and compensation programs and other Human Resources
programs.Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows
environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database
management and record keeping.Effective oral and written
communication.Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.Attention
to detail, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving
skills.Must be able to maintain high level of
confidentiality.Responsive to staff needs, including
professionalism, respect and consideration of others.Demonstrates
flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work
environment.Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.Strong conflict
management skills.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and
monitors work to ensure quality.Takes personal responsibility for
own actions, keeping commitments and asking for and offering help
when needed.Perform highly responsible and complex work
independently and accomplish with minimal instruction or in
accordance with established procedures.Understand and carry out
complex oral and written instructions which may include adverse
material of a sensitive nature.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing
the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit;
reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is
frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel;
frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift
and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to
stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

essential functions.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work environment is moderately
noisy. The employee is occasionally required to work near conveyor
systems. There is exposure to dust and changes in weather
conditions. Employee must be able to work in high-demand,
high-volume environment and meet customer deadlines. Employee must
be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact
with employees at all levels and be able to operate powered
