Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Prescott, AZ Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $1,600 to $1,850 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) Location: Prescott, AZ Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (8 hours x 5 days/week) Pay Rate: $1,600 – $1,850 per week (Based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) for a 13-week contract assignment in Prescott, AZ. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting surgeons and the surgical team throughout procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments before, during, and after procedures Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs Ensure proper handling, counting, and sterilization of instruments and materials Maintain aseptic technique at all times Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation for surgery Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals Monitor and restock surgical supplies as needed Adhere to infection control and safety protocols Requirements: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (preferred/required per facility) Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Tech experience BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required) Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills
