Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a dedicated Technical Coordinator to join our innovative team. This position plays a pivotal role in our laboratory services, ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality diagnostic results. As a joint venture between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, our labs utilize state-of-the-art technology to foster precise outcomes. The Technical Coordinator will oversee daily lab activities, manage technical staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Oversee daily operations in laboratory settings to ensure efficient workflow and quality control. Manage and train laboratory staff on technical procedures, equipment operations, and safety protocols. Implement and maintain compliance with all applicable health regulations, including CAP, CLIA, and HIPAA. Collaborate with other health professionals to optimize laboratory services and data integration. Conduct performance evaluations and support continuous education and professional development of technical staff. Monitor and order supplies, manage inventory to avoid disruptions in lab activities. Strong leadership and organizational skills Proficient in laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently Detailed understanding of laboratory safety and data privacy laws Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or equivalent Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
