Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Prescott,
Arizona, 86301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid Nursing
License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read
basic telemetry strips - Some experience with CVA and TIA - Total
joint replacement experience - Cerner experience is recommended
Description: Unit Notes: Prescreen and manager review required.
Clinician must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
prior to signing the contract. If the clinician fails to score 80%
in two attempts, they will be unable to work for 6 months. A radius
rule applies; candidates may not have worked full time, part time,
or PRN with any facility associated within the past year. This unit
specializes in telemetry and has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
Common diagnoses include CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, GI
conditions, diabetes, post-cath patients, and those recovering from
total joint replacements. RNs are required to interpret telemetry
strips and sign off at least once per shift. Charge Nurses and
House Supervisors are also present on the unit. There is assistance
from Nurse Aides, with a ratio of 1:10-15. Equipment includes
BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatments. Shifts are from 7 PM to 7
AM, with schedules planned for four weeks. Self-scheduling is used
but is subject to final approval by management. Weekend
requirements include working 2 weekends per 4-week schedule.
Holiday requirements involve working 2 days during Christmas, New
Year's, and Thanksgiving. There are no call or standby
requirements. Floating to other areas may be required, depending on
qualifications. Scrub color/dress code is navy blue. Cancellation
policy allows for 4 shifts per contract; 3 shifts if the contract
is under 13 weeks. The charting system used is Cerner. BSN degree
is not required. Trauma level and care settings involve acute
