Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience License: Valid Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: - At least 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience - Ability to pass required assessments prior to beginning - Competence in maintaining a sterile field Description: The Emergency Room is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position includes working with a diverse patient population, including trauma, burns, and pediatric cases. Nurses will be expected to manage multiple patients efficiently while adhering to protocols. There will be opportunities for floating between various facilities within the system as needed. The role requires strong critical thinking and clinical skills. Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically at 1:4. All nurses will participate in educational labs and skill assessments focusing on essential nursing competencies. The facility supports a collaborative environment with strong interdisciplinary teamwork. A commitment to ongoing education and mastering new skills is essential for success in this role.
