Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Laveen, Arizona, 85339! Pay

Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration:
13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week
Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: Must pass dysrhythmia exam Description: Travelers may
float to a sister facility as needed. A dysrhythmia exam must be
taken and passed within two attempts prior to signing the contract.
A minimum score of 80% is required to continue; failing will result
in a 6-month Do Not Use status for certain regions. Candidates must
not have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated
facility in the past year. A pass/fail Sim Lab is required on the
first day of orientation; study guides will be provided. The unit
has 16 beds, with an average of 16 cases per day. Common procedures
include medical-surgical and post-surgical cases. Weekend and
holiday work is required in rotation with core staff. Scrub color
is navy blue. Telemetry services are available, but the unit does
not handle ventilators. An IV team is not assigned to the unit, but
pharmacy services are available 24/7. There are two days of
floor-specific orientation before starting on the unit. Shifts
alternate between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Floating to
similar facilities may be necessary if needed. Charting is done
using the Cerner system. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is
not required for this position. This position is set in an acute
