TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Laveen, Arizona, 85339! Pay Information $2,176 per week About The Position Job Title: ER Float Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC Must-Have: Travel experience required Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start Competence in Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion Description: This position requires floating between different emergency room locations. The schedule will be made in advance, so the nurse will be aware of their reporting location. Travelers will be expected to complete testing related to nursing skills on the first day. Passing the skills lab is required; understanding sterile field maintenance is essential. Healthcare professionals will be responsible for patient care as one of only two RNs at satellite locations. Ratios for patient assignments are 4:1. All nurses must be competent in maintaining sterile techniques and performing necessary skills. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. Holiday shifts may be required as needed. The charting system used is Cerner.
