2 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS,
ACLS required Must-Have: Level I trauma experience Ability to
circulate and scrub 30-minute response time for call Description:
The position involves working in a Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit has 3
main beds, including one for electrophysiology and one hybrid bed
for both vascular and cardiac cases. The typical case load ranges
from 10 to 25 cases per day. The registered nurse will be
responsible for circulating cases and not scrubbing. The electronic
medical record systems utilized are Cerner and Xper. Charge nurse
duties may be required. There will be interactions with nurse aides
and radiologic technologists during procedures. The nurse is
expected to cover endovascular and cardiovascular operating room
cases. Weekend shift requirements include 4 shifts every 4 weeks.
Holiday coverage will be part of the rotation. The position may
require 8 to 12 call shifts per month. Common diagnoses and patient
types include interventional cardiology and vascular cases, such as
mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA placement. The department uses
Philips and Siemens equipment for procedures. Pharmacy and
