Position Summary: Our Client is seeking an OR RN is responsible for providing safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves pre-operative preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative care in collaboration with the surgical team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to the specific procedure and surgeon preference. Conduct pre-operative assessments and confirm patient identification, surgical consent, and procedure details. Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing instruments, managing sterile fields, and anticipating needs. Monitor the patient’s condition throughout the surgery and respond promptly to any changes. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other team members to ensure patient safety and surgical efficiency. Document all nursing care provided during the perioperative period accurately in the medical record.
