Arizona Centers for Digestive Health, a Covenant Physician Partner, is hiring a full-time medical assistant to join our amazing team. We are located at13065 W McDowell RdSuite B108 in Avondale. Bilingual applicants strongly urged to apply!

About the Opportunity

Working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed weekends and major holidays.

The Medical Assistant (MA) will attend to patients/customers on the phone and in person. The MA will also coordinate and organize daily responsibilities congruent with physician schedules. This role will work with assisting physicians to provide the highest quality of care to every patient/customer. Other roles and responsibilities include triaging patients/customers, completing review of systems, and preparing each patient/customer for the upcoming physician examination.

About the Candidate

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Registered, certified or completion of accredited Medical Assistant training program is preferred. (Maintain certification, license and CME's).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis
• Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications
• Perform Prior Approvals for Specialty Pharmacies
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections (if applicable).
