Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; weekends if necessary
Location: Avondale, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required, plus 1-2 years of direct experience OR
• Bachelor's degree in related field Experience:
  • Bilingual skills, verbal and written required (Spanish)
  • 1-2 years of experience working with various homeless populations, including families, individuals, young adults and/or homeless veterans. Primary Responosbilities:
    • Provides outreach to the City of Avondale and surrounding areas as identified by the city.
    • Identifies immediate needs and provide appropriate resources to address client needs, including providing any referrals or setting up transportation as needed. Be responsive and timely to participant requests and concerns.
    • Assists in connecting participates with Coordinated Entry, shelter or other housing services in the community.
    • Work in collaboration with other providers in the community to ensure participants stay engaged
    • with the program and access shelter as quickly as possible.
    • Use of personal vehicle to work with participants, attend meetings, and participants in
    • appointments for housing search.
    • Assists with obtaining any identification that is required.
    • Provides referrals to additional resources to meet needs of adults and children.
    • Responsible for all CSBG, CoC and other required reports. Compliance:
      • Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
      • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
      • Current Auto Liability Insurance
      • Clean 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
