Job Description Job Description Director of Electrical Engineer Director of Electrical Engineering Position Overview The Director of Electrical Engineer will lead and manage our power engineering practice, focusing on the development and delivery of innovative solutions in power transmission and utility infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, who can drive the team towards achieving excellence in service delivery while fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage power engineering projects from conception to completion. Develop project plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Oversee the design and implementation of transmission systems and utility infrastructure projects. Foster relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success. Provide technical analysis and support for engineering solutions. Mentor and guide team members in best practices for project management and engineering design. Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies for projects. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in power engineering, including renewable energy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in power engineering with a focus on project management. Proven experience in transmission systems and utility infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, industry regulations, and compliance standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client relations and team collaboration. Experience in renewable energy projects is a plus. Familiarity with electrical systems and substation design is desirable. Demonstrated ability in budgeting, risk management, and strategic planning.
