Job Description Job Description Summary Candidates are responsible for providing quality childcare and instruction in a Child Care setting and adhering to ADHS codes and statutes. Duties Provides care and instruction to promote academic and social/emotion growth Monitors children's behavior and safety inside and outside of the classroom Assists with clean-up and other related tasks following daily activates Prepares classroom for activities, including creating lessons and preparing materials Creates bulletin boards, maintains materials and supplies, contacts parents and may make copies May attend in-service training sessions Performs other duties of a similar nature or level Follows all AZDHS licensing regulations Requirements Must have all qualifications prior to entry: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) Fingerprint card, TB test Must have after hire; First Aid/CPR Food Handlers Card Physical Requirements: Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing Incumbents may be subjected to blood and other body fluids Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Nice To Haves CDA 6 month experience in the child care field Benefits Sick Time Vacation Time Holidays-PAID time off Paid Professional Development Discounted Child Care
