Vaco has partnered with an e-commerce company that is in search of a Fractional Staff Accountant to support their day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Job Title: Staff Accountant Location: Remote (open to out-of-state candidates) Pay Rate: $30-40 per hour Project Duration: Ongoing (potential for permanent hire) Responsibilities Include: Perform accounting tasks with strong knowledge of US GAAP Support e-commerce operations, including inventory-related accounting Collaborate with Fractional Controller to manage day-to-day accounting needs Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the role grows Qualifications: BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong knowledge of US GAAP QuickBooks Online experience helpful but not required Self-starter and ability to work independently Excellent organizational and communication skills Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
