And we do it all with every action focused on our shared values of Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation & Performance.The primary function of this position will be to assist with Agile method Business User Story creation, UAT, and Post-Production Release Verifications for a platform processing medical benefit / PBM claims and EDI transactions. Position will provide insights and recommendations for developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing organization policies on billing / collection practices. Position will also perform medical and/or PBM billing / collections activities. Responsibilities will include following up with accounts to research unpaid claims, resolve claim denial issues, and identify the root causes of issues that prevent first pass payments.This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Groups Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:Reviewing and analyzing system specificationsExecuting test scripts and reviewing resultsReporting and documenting technical issuesHelp troubleshoot issuesConduct post-release / post-implementation testingWork with cross-functional teams to ensure Revenue Cycle activities are supported throughout software development lifecycleReview open AR and identify root causes of issues preventing first pass paymentIdentify issues/trends and escalate to Supervisor / Manager when assistance is needed.Provide exceptional Customer service to internal and external customers.Adhere to Regulatory / Payer Guidelines and policies & procedures.Other duties as assigned.Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)1+ years of experience working in Microsoft office suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.Preferred Qualifications:Specialty Pharmacy experienceUnderstanding of EDI transactionsKnowledge of NDC, ICD-10, and HIPAAUnderstanding of Agile development from business user perspectiveExperience working with medical/PBM claims or medical/pharmacy accounts receivablesTelecommuting Requirements:Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacyAbility to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet serviceUnitedHealth Group requires all new hires and employees to report their COVID-19 vaccination status.Military & Veterans find your nextmission: We know your background and experience is different and we like that. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $18.80 to $33.41.
